I think it was more me keeping my foot in it once the slide started. It was just too slick that far off the apex which I missed by a mile trying to kill it thru that corner. I hate that corner.

I had a good lap time going and it was gonna be my last session!

Either way, same result.

My second time to Pitt and will be going back. If you haven't driven here you need to come out next year. The track is menacingly fun and challenging. You need to be very precise to peel off decent laps. And there's hardly ever a boring lap with a lot of close passing.

It's been too long since anyone has posted a track video. This is not my proudest moment but entertaining nonetheless. Just a couple out laps yesterday morning with a few Dorkis. I knew the last corner was covered in clag after seeing a self proclaimed PCA Nation Champion unable to avoid a spin and having my own difficulty getting the car to slow there but I ran over a nice pile and it almost turned me around.

The flaggers called me in for a 4 off which I didn't agree with but the steward was wearing his big boss man hat and didn't believe me. Thing is...this is my first ever "DE" off or spin, ever. And I was bummed to lose that streak and looking at the video, do I deserve it? Looks and sounds like 2 1/2 - 3 wheels off to me

Great video. Too much traffic. How do you get the tire temperature graphic--way cool!

It was fun to be back at the track. I'm taking the 914 to Pitt next year for sure! It may make an appearance at Summit next week.

Write Evan a check and he will send them out right away!

In all seriousness the Vbox system is pretty awesome and best feature is that the camera makes you look Fast even if you aren't. Should have bought it sooner and saved money on race tunes.

The stewards DID their job...don't be makin excuses. That was at least a 3 and 3/4 off any any self respecting driver (especially one that's married to the Pres) needs to come in and admit the likelyhood of their non-perfection.

"Self-respecting" and "married o the Pres" have been polar opposites since at least the 1950s...

What excuse are you referring too? I pitted and was at the steward stand when he was still listening to the flaggers call my number. Is there another form of admission you were expected? And I said, I wasn't 4 off but pretty close. You power hungry stewards are all alike, guilty even when proven innocent!!

I expect my record to be expunged

Soooo.....if you think you didn't do anything wrong....why did you go in on your own accord?

We'll put it to a vote but I expect there will be plenty of hanging chads...

This level of childish jealously around my perfect, never had 4 off, spin or flag violation ever in many yrs of DE is unbecoming.
