Looks like the dome light issue may require a reset of the alarm module and a specialized Porsche diagnostic tool... PST2 or PIWIS. it may be a trip back to SSI if no one happens to have one locally?

Congrats on the car, and welcome to the sand box. Sloan runs a nice operation at SSI. You may have seen my car there if you happened to go into the garage area.

I didn’t go into the garage area of the shop, normally I’d weasel my way in but with Covid, and already working in a garage environment, I figured it was best left for another juncture!

Did you verify juice to the bulb socket and continuity across the bulb? Also there is a switch for the dome light.

Have not yet, happened as I brought it home last evening. I’ll go mess with it this afternoon to check all that out. I have a new shift knob to install anyway. I have no interior lights other than the gauge cluster at the moment, so it may be a fuse as well. The switch does nothing at the moment.
