Default Helmets off to Heroes

Nov 11 Veterans day
There is an event on the Jefferson circuit Free to Veterans and current service personnel. There are a few slots still open for participants in their cars. Check out the facebook page or
http://www.drive-lab.com/upcoming-ev...f-to-heros.htm

This is a great opportunity to share the track experience with those who deserve it.

Who is driving, instructing, or volunteering at the event? I'll see you from one of the corners or during lunch.

This will be another fun event but prepare for the cold but partly sunny weather.

Love to volunteer to help - I did this a few years ago. Who do I talk to too? I would drive but I just decommissioned my track car for the year.

You could ask Mark Hillyer (message "Wilson" on Dorki) He is responsible for the cornerworkers. I'm not sure about other positions (tech, registration, etc.) but I believe Travis Dixon (SCCA DC region PDX lead) is responsible for those. Start with Mark though.

A big shout out to everyone who participated Hugh, Scott . This is a great way for us to show the veterans why we are so passionate about our motorsport lives.
We had Veterans there from 22 to 82 years old. with cars from 1962 to 2017

Everyone left with a smile

Thank you all
