Default rotissorie for 911

I am trying to see if any one has a rotisserie for a 911 that they are not using . I just pulled one out of a cow filed and the floors are shot....

For a long term restoration project, maybe you can build your own rotisserie. I haven't watched the whole video, but seems like a viable DIY.

Very cool. Is that a red Daimler in the background?

I think the front and back ones are more useful, though require solid front and rear mounting areas. Cross bracing is important too.

Given that home grown restorations often take years, borrowing a rotisserie sounds like a plan for future conflict!

Be very careful when replacing 911 pans. Not hard to distort the car when the pans are off. As much as I hate working overhead I do pans with the car dead level and square.

YMMV. I park the car on the lift and make a set of firmly fixed ref points that let me triangulate the body in all 3D. I then remove the old pan, fit up the new one and tack it. Recheck all my ref points and if good bust out the spot welder and weld the pans in. Rolling a pan free tub on its side then presenting a new pan will run the risk of a banana shaped tub when done.
