What to do with a used helmet?
Autocross used to take them, but now they have their own. I have a Bell Vortex (Snell 2005) helmet that is in quite good shape despite scratches. Always worn with a balaclava under it. Hate to just put in the trash--does anybody have any other ideas? Naturally I'm looking for $0 for it.
Since I just read Hunt's "tires for sale" thread, I'll add that this particular helmet was sold to me by Mark Francis when he worked at C-Doc! That's gotta account for something. Also, I wasn't willing to pay Nader to take it...

FWIW, you might consider posting it on Craigslist. I'll bet a lot of motorcyclists don't care what the date is.

Other clubs also do autocross. Used to run with the Corvete group who were always looking for loaners.
