Default MLytle garage build

time for a bigger shop...

current house has 16x24 shop with no lift. 15 years of building race cars and restoring old bmw cars and motorcycles. time for a bigger place.

bought another house nearby that we are, ah, updating. lot has room for bigger shop. plan is for a 30x30 with a full second floor. two bays, two post lift in right bay, 4 post in left bay. ceiling height to accomodate clear floor two post lift. here is where it is going. it will be a left turn right before hitting the house garage.

into this hill...

digging a hole into the hill

covered for the incoming rain

may be pouring foundation retaining walls this week...wx permitting..

This would make a great multi-part series for dear Vorganger!

Nothing like seeing that first bit of concrete getting poured to let you know things are moving forward. Great day for it, too!

Very cool, just make sure that wall is strong and the backfill is fully packed down. You don't want that pool moving around at all, and I know sometimes contractors don't repack dirt as much as they should.

What a great space!
