Default 2020 Corvette Stingray

Mid-engine, DCT only option (no manual), dry sump standard, retains 6.2L N/A LT2 Pushrod w/ 495hp. GM claims 0-60mph in 2.8s.

Monster car and this is just the Stingray

Base Corvette Stingray MSRP $60K... Base Boxster MSRP $59K.
It'll be hard to get a new Vette at MSRP for a while, but Porsche plays that game too.

I love Porsche but there wouldn't be a chance in hell I'd buy a new base Boxster over a new Stingray unless I specifically wanted manual. Whom I kidding, I wouldn't ever buy a base Boxster unless it was used and had a roll cage

Edit: C2 in manual would be a tough choice but apples to apples DCT vs PDK? Take the Vette, and with the xtra pocket money buy a truck, a trailer, and sign up for PCA HPDE for the giggles

A lot of car for the money, but will it be able to do more then 3 laps at speed. 6.2l is going to produce a lot of heat.

Maybe not but at the end of 3 you can take a minute to stroll down hot pits and the Boxster you lapped can catch back up for another point by 😂

I read OHC, not pushrod. Did I read wrong?

Sure seems like a lot of car for the money. 'merican car will surely have more affordable extra cooling for engine and transmission than that Euro stuff!
