Just when you thought that F1 couldn't get any more thrilling...... what a bizarre race yesterday. I really must make an effort to get to a Montreal F1 race one of these days!

Agreed. Very strange. The thing that really pissed me off was DC getting podium. God damn. That means he's going to be around for another century.

I am happy for Kubica. After almost getting killed there last year, it is great to see him win this time. I am also happy for BMW. They have really climbed the ranks nicely.
Does anybody know why the pit exit was closed to cause the pile up?

He is one ugly dude. Good for him. It is pretty cool that he "won" there after last year's crash.

My brothers and I were at the race. It was one of the better of the recent races. There was a large Polish contingent in our grandstand who began celebrating halfway through the race.
We were at T9 and witnessed Vettel's big shunt during free practice. There was also big pile-ups during all of the Formula BMW, Porsche SuperCup and Ferrari Challenge races. (A couple were racing incidents, but most were just bonehead moves.) Also amazing to watch Alonso drove. (Droved since he ended up crashing out?) He really was trying hard to pass Heidfeld, and you can see how much closer he was to the limit (relative to other drivers) lap after lap the whole weekend.

as for me posting a potential 'spoiler'... well, this is an F1 thread. if you don't wanna read/find out something about the races, don't click on the thread. simple as that, and quite different from posting revealing info about each race in the thread title. |
