Default I need a weld

The rear engine carrier (thing the engine mounts to in the rear) is cracked on one mount. Can anyone weld it for me? Can be sloppy just needs to be strong.

Cash or beer

Thanks,

Chris

Feel like taking a drive? I know just the cracks and how to not just fix but prevent more in the future. The downside is I am 90 min from the beltway

Thanks.

Appreciate the offer. Guess you moved. It's a bit too far round trip.

Yup I moved. No worries, plenty of folks can hot glue metal.

I have a very hot glue gun and barely adequate skills but am up the road in Purcellville and will be around this weekend if you want a quick amateur job.

FWIW, the trip to VG's new stronghold is worth the trip. The entire property is very cool. Think of it like visiting the King of the Mountain.

Another question for the collective.

I replaced the clutch (g50). The pedal goes almost to the floor before engaging the clutch (shift fork moves about 3/4 inch before pedal hits the floor). Does it need bleed or adjusted?

thanks

Don't believe there is any mechanical adjustment on the G 50 clutch!

Double check the pedal, is the pin worn out? Did you open the hydraulic system? If so bleed again.
