Not magic access. No X73 on the build sheet.

Looking at the dealer pics, I would say no.. not sitting low enough.. What made you think it would have one of the rarest Boxster options out there?

Then again, x73 can be retrofitted if really that important, correct?

you have a better eye than i do

you are right, it is rare, but i have run across two others that have it in my current search

then last night i was looking at retrofit, and the kit at suncoast is less than $1600

well, both this this white one and a gray one i called on for yesterday have already been spoken for

unless those deals go south i am still looking

shame, the white one was super nice

karen still wants one in bright blue, but she liked the white/red

i contacted a local place that does auto body wraps, and for a 981 boxster, they start at about $4900

i found a blue one in tampa, private owner, but that would be a drive

Having a 981S myself I keep a close eye on values and sales. They are so in demand right now it's crazy. Kind of like the 993 was when Porsche decided to go water cooled. If Porsche ever decides to go back to a standard flat 6 their values will most likely plummet but for now it's the last 6 cylinder standard Boxster. Go to the 981 page on Rennlist and put out a feeler. There is always someone on the fence that could be swayed for the right offer.

FWIW I retrofitted X73 to my 2014 Cayman. Besides the kit cost the installation will be another $1600-1800 or so. Get a written estimate before proceeding.

I’ve been very happy with the X73, although if you plan to track the car, additional negative camber will be desirable. I use camber plates up front, which works well enough. The better and pricier alternative is to switch to adjustable GT3 control arms.

After you add X73 and a wrap your cost is getting closer to a new one. Have you considered the 718 4.0 GTS?
