Garage Lift Recommendations & Installers
Looking for recommendations on a 4 post lift and company to install in the area. My goal is to park the 911 on the lift and my SUV underneath. I have a 3 car garage and on the single car my height is 10'6 and my dual garage is 12'7.
Any guidance, companies, brand etc. would be greatly appreciated.

My boss used Potomac Garage Solutions to do 3 cantilever lifts in his 3 car. Full service shop (electrical and install). The lifts themselves are "self-branded" Chinese generic lifts that are fine with home use. He was satisfied with their work, but they are not cheap. They do sell branded lifts as well.

Are you looking for turn-key/checkbook job or low cost? I had Scott Automotive Equipment install my 2 post, but they might be overkill for a 4 poster.

I have a BendPak 4-post and BendPak 2-post, and like them both. Solid construction. I purchased both from www.asedeals.com.
I used RD Automotive for installation of both (he actually installed the 4-post at our old house, and took it down and re-installed it at our current place.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations! I spoke to RD Automotive, and he uses the tuxedo brand. Need garage door modification to allow for lift. Keep you posted on what I find out.

Yup...you'll need a jackshaft opener and a re-route of the garage door tracks to tuck up as close to the ceiling as possible.

I bought a bendpak 2-post from these guys. I used them via a recommendation from another member here (I think it was Chris also?).
https://www.liftsplusdepot.com/ The owner's name is Shawn. They have other brands as well. BTW... I park a Porsche on the 2 car lift also.

If you really dont want to install it or are not mechanically inclined then disregard. Just giving you some data points.
A 4 post really isn't hard to install. Way easier then a 2 post and doesn't require any drilling. I had my mother help me put my HD9 together a few years ago the day before christmas. Took a few hours. That also involved moving it from the trailer and unpacking. IF you have a few able men ... cough cough Dorki members, Im sure you wont have an issue. Half the battle is reading directions and identifying the parts. Only real tools you need is a hammer and adjustable wrench. As for lifts I have a HD9 on the wide set up for 4 years or so. I have not had any issues. I have about 4-6 inches left on the outside of the ramps with the RSR, Viper, and Alfa on it. I doubt you will have an issue with it bit look into it. I have very wide cars in the rear. This is sometime that gets overlooked alot ... the drive through on the ramps that is. I have done plenty of work on the cars with it and no real complaints. If you only had the one lift and plan to work on it then buy the rolling jack set up. It is worth it unless you have a 2 post lift as well. 2 of those jacks cost about what a nice 2 post cost. I have worked with bottle jacks under the car but its a pita if you have to remove 2 wheels at a time. It doesn't happen very often. 80% of the my use is storage. Made the 2 car garage a 3 car while I built my detached garage. I park my viper under and the cobra over ... vise versa with the RSR. The Alfa wont fit under and still allow the cobra on top due to the garage door. Its close ... maybe 3 inches. Mainly due to the way the stops line up and how my garage door is set up. One observation I can pass is it does walk a little so I have to pull it back the 1-2 inches every year. Mainly due to the garage floor in my attached garage. No slop and Im sure it will stay in place. Alot if guys don't bolt them and they work just fine. If your up for a trip you welcome to check it out in person.

The need for a jackshaft door opener is a feature, not a bug - you'll like that.
