Not in a 107 HP Miata... T14, on the other hand (blind over the crest of a hill) is challenging, but I've never seen anyone go off there (other than with a suspension failure).

Late to the party but I echo Dirk's and others sentiments. First time I ever instructed was at VIR.. With a "yellow" student in a 300+hp Corvette.. (I was driving a 120hp 914 at the time). Never been to the track. Wasn't a big deal in the end. Same with Mid Ohio. and Senendoah (but by those events, I had been instructing a while, it was just a matter of learning the course)
Considering the number of videos out there (much harder to find in the late 1990s!) you will be up to speed quickly enough for a Green and likely a yellow student in no time. Take a ride in "white or black" if they go out before your student for recon if you haven't had your own run group time yet.

And as others have mentioned, it is a fun track and very technical. Lots of elevation which I like.

I'm in the same boat. 1st time to Pitt.
I did the first three DE events at Dominion when the track opened so none of us had any idea what to do except for the Dominion CI. We followed him around in the first session of the day and learned enough to impart knowledge to the students. You will be learning with every session, including the ones with your student. By the end of Friday you will know how to drive the track. Just my 2 cents. Marc
