You can also use 997 803 183 11 (driver) and 997 803 183 05 (passenger). These are the buckle's that are used with the sport bucket seats. I only used the one on the driver side and was running a 996 GT3 seat. Pig tail plugged into the car connector.

Perhaps my 981S is broken. All I did was disconnect the wires and replaced my stock 5 billion position heated seats with racing seats and the only warning I get is an airbag warning which I am too lazy to have turned off. No seat belt dinging and no lights. My 3 pt harness is not latched, it just hangs in place.

Luckily you don’t have an annual safety inspection, like us folks in VA.
My car behaves the same as yours. I like the absence of seat belt alarm dinging. Just have to swap the seats back in periodically to pass inspection.
