Probably the finest 914 in the world. Likely the most expensive as well.
Drive it to the car show, put it back in the garage. On the other hand, how can you resist a spirited drive on a regular basis.

I don't know about the finest 914 in the world, but thanks for the compliment. I plan to drive this car. It will not be a garage queen to save for the next owner. I essentially wanted a new 914-6 so I could drive it and not worry about mechanical issues, rust, etc. If it goes to shows they will likely be of the wash and shine variety.

Dave: If I were he, I'd find some way to project the required numbers onto the car without using adhesive. I'm glad to see that he's (you're) planning to drive the car. It really is a fantastic remanufacturing (NOT a rehab. . .). Maybe I'll send mine to him.

I wish. My wrenching days are behind me. I have guys who know what they are doing handling this restoration. I wanted it right the first time around. A man has got to know his limitations......
