Oh, he's already asked and got an answer, which is why he's now switching to subliminal messaging.

Larry I do not agree with you, I know what is like paying $6 for a gallon of gas, and 18% on everything you buy, 42% on the incoming taxes and 30+% on new car taxes and the list goes on. USA is bless when it comes to taxes and services by the government. We have been dealing with MD Counties inspections for the last 20 years most of them do a good job, some counties in VA and MD have an option by request for private inspection, service is quicker but does not mean better.

Yeah, the new great American pastime is whining and bitching about the government, especially by those who have nothing to bitch about given their income levels and enviable Porsche-driving lifestyles. Join Rennlist and check out the P&C forum to get a taste of what I am talking about. Let's face it, governement is a necessary evil, otherwise we would all exterminate each other out of hate and envy. The US system is better than most, if not all of the alternatives.

It's all relative. Since I didn't grow up under the European system, it looks worse to me. The attitude of the current government is that wealthy do-ers should pay much more of their success to those who don't do squat, except have more out-of-wedlock children that the fathers refuse to take care of. Communism will soon be here, socialism already is. If you want to continue driving your Porsche you better start doing more than bitching.

OK, this is getting even more comical.

I just spoke with the inspector. When he got there yesterday he didn't know what he was supposed to be inspecting!?!?! WTF #5!!!

His paperwork only said 'final inspection'.
He thought it was the house even though the building permit is for a shed. Of course the house was locked which was why he couldn't get in.

I'm glad I had a chance to speak to him because he indicated I had to leave a copy of the location survey in the shed. Of course, it was submitted w/ the building permit so I would have assumed he'd have a copy (electronic maybe??) he would use to verify proper placement. I guess I'm expecting too much....

And some of us are fighting to keep Government as unobtrusive as possible so we we don't end up like where you came from Antonio.

Hard to believe the current regime was able to screw things up so much in just under 2 years! While the previous one had everything running so well after only 8… no wait didn’t their tutelage lead to some kind of financial disaster (?) mass unemployment, 2 seemingly unending wars, etc., etc., etc??? I guess we would have been better off if we’d just hung in there for a few more years of the same

The current administration gave my aunt cancer. She's pretty damn sure about that.

Isn't the moral of the story to just put up the dang shed without the permits?

Permits? We don't need no stinking permits!
