Yup, I just took a new to me 06 Cayman S to The Dent Hero in Arlington. He's in the Ballston area and works out of a new car dealership.

Richard took out 5 dings in just a couple of hours. His work was flawless and the cost was a lot less than I expected. I would strongly recommend him.

Here are some recommendations for paintless dent removal:

Find a reputable technician who specializes in paintless dent removal. They will have the necessary tools and experience to repair the dent effectively.

Make sure the technician assesses the damage before starting the repair. Some dents may not be suitable for paintless dent removal and may require traditional body repair methods.
  • If the technician is able to perform the repair, they will typically use specialized tools to massage the dent out from the inside of the panel.
  • Avoid using home remedies like boiling water, vacuum cleaners, or dry ice to remove the dent. These methods can cause further damage to the panel and may not be effective.
  • After the repair is complete, inspect the panel to ensure it looks smooth and the paint has not been damaged. If you are not satisfied with the repair, do not hesitate to speak with the technician or seek a second opinion.

By following these recommendations, you can help ensure a successful paintless dent removal experience.

Been told by friend who is very particular that Paul Kordon at Dent Masters 703-969-8461 is the best he has ever used. He did also say that these guys often need to drill an access hole here or there to perform their work and he stayed with the car to remove things so access was simpler without drilling. IE removed a headlight so access to under fender area was achieved without drilling hole in rear/hood area. They do cap these holes with plastic caps but on old cars this may be un-thinkable.

The best dent remover will never drill any holes. If for some reason that can't get to the back of a panel they will use a glue gun to pull it out and tap it down to make it perfect.

I don't think they could possibly make it funnier than the one that was created by humans...

Rafael. He will come to you and so far everybody I have sent to him has walked away with glowing reviews. I myself have never used him but I have seen a lot of his work. YMMV 714-345-0992.
