Default New (old) toy

So, I found this during quarantine and couldn't pass it up.
It was being built up as a 944Cup SP2 class car. Not sure if I will continue down that path or just use it for AX, DE and for my boys to learn in as well.

How about some details on current build? Narrow body = narrow(er) wheels . Plus late offset so fewer (low cost) choices

I was so glad(e) the turbo finally sold! I was so close to “falling off the wagon....... again!

L/R fuel rail

Manual steering rack
steel control arms (early style, rebuildable)
Koni coilovers (400# f, 600#r), torsion bar delete
camber plates
short 5th gear with LSD
Safety devices roll cage
3 sets of wheels ( 12 wheels in total - (4) 6x15's, (8) 7x15's - all late offset phonedials)

This is a great car for the youngsters to learn in. If they master the art of driving slow cars fast, they will be successful in anything they grow into. Very few folks learn how to properly manage momentum at the limits of adhesion and rely on gobs of HP to get a good lap time.
