Thanks- I appreciate that. I plan to drive and enjoy it. It will not be a trailer queen.

For BillC - Here is what the 3rd brake lite, LED's look like not he inside of the engine lid. To be honest, they do not put out enough light for me. I will likely look for an alternative that is much more visible when illuminated. I like the concept, but the visibility is lacking when illuminated.

Yesterday I installed the "stretched" OEM exhaust finisher. It fits perfectly. The next time I am in Los Angeles with the car, hopefully the weekend after Labor Day, I will drop the finisher off to have it re-chromed.

I also put a nice coat of Carnauba wax on the paint to protect it for the coming trip.

I have put about 1,500 miles on my Six thus far. Had the valves adjusted at 1K mile mark and did an oil/filter. Car runs and drives perfectly.

Good work! That's more mileage than some would put on such a car in years. Enjoy it in good health

Thanks Ed. From the beginning I said I would drive it and that is exactly what I am doing. Almost every time I stop somewhere people come up to me and ask about it and want to take a picture. One guy in his late 20's asked if it was the new James Bond movie car! I told him I had not seen the movie, but I highly doubted it was the movie car.

Thanks Bruce. The car is running great. Yesterday I made a change to this shift knob.
