Need RECO for Indie Diesel Speciality Shop
Recently purchased an older Duramax Pickup to tow my M3 and I suspect that the head gaskets maybe starting to leak. This truck has lots of PROs and a few CONs and the price was right so I decided to do a bit of a restro on it. I can do it myself but lack the space and time to do this job. Anybody know a good shop around here?

Pasadena Diesel Repair, in Pasadena MD. Theyre a2nd gen small family owned shop that was reco'd by a few friends. They did a great job bulletproofing my Ford 6.0 a few years ago.

R717,
Thanks for the RECO. The scope of work I am considering is very similar to your Ford 6.0 work so Thanks. |

Yep, don't get me started ... My Dad's 7.3 gave me faith on taking the plunge on the then-new 6.0. Admittedly it's been good since the bulletproofing; atleast it doesn't require donkey pee.

as another ford 6.0 owner.....
i have been happy with United Diesel in Alexandria. much closer to you than Pasedena. https://goo.gl/maps/Wijj6611Rv71SDre7 i had the classic 6.0 fuel in coolant head warping at 75k miles. United rebuilt top of the engine and bulletproofed it. zero issues since. all i use the truck for is towing race trailers.

Gentlemen,
Thanks for the help. Yup - I idea behind the Duramax is haul cars to the track and haul household project debris to the dump. |
