Default AIM Solo 2 and Solo 2 will be released tomorrow

AIM should be announcing the new and improved solo 2 and Solo DL2..

Has some Interesting improvements and once race studio3 is released could fill a large gap in data resourcesplanned for the future but not yet available as they are working on the race studio 3 software updates (as has been promised for some time, so looks like they have the hardware side set now)

I'll post up more details as I find them, being announced the tomorrow PRI convention in Indianapolis

I have a few people I will point your way of you want to sell it.....its it's a regular solo there is not much set up besides power.....all GPS driven, lemme know if you need any help

Lights are rumored to not be shiftlights but programmable lights (most likely for a visual +/- predictive lap display much like on the michron5 karting dash) and possibly alarms for the Solo2DL making it more of a mini dash. If they allow for shift lights that's an amazing entry to data option....depending in pricing of course

Tomorrow should have alot more information

Looks like solo2 will have shift lights and ability to program said lights for other things

Likely gonna be a while for the solo2 and for the software update that is rumored to have video integration.....but at least it's getting closer.

Mxm I believe was announced as a hopeful February release...they showed off a unit at the convention...looks pretty neat

Right now I am leaning towards the vbox. Pull the trigger or wait for the solo 2?

May be waiting a long while to you see them available stateside ....i know the mxs was about 15 months after the announcement
Software update.....in order to do something similar to what vbox does......no date supplied yet and also no idea which cameras it will work with.....hopefully smartycam hd....but there is talk of a new better resolution camera on deck

Big vbox fan....feel free to contact me for questions or to order

So it seems that even when aim gets the software ability to sync with data it won't be able to compare multiple video laps like the vbox....that will be a later update. But later could be a loong while out.....
Also have a new smartycam that would allow for 2 cameras to be run
Vbox software and cameras are just hard to beat right now

The MXM dash looks awesome as a step above a solo2 and allows a few analog sensors so will work with the older cars and anyone with additional sensors added.

I've made a few request to the Vbox team to start working on some shift lights that could be an add on......would be a great addition.
