I might not have filed for that. Chain link is easy to fix and the parts inexpensive.

Cut up the tree and stand the fence back up. The top tube is likely a V with a kink where the tree hit. The rest is likely undamaged unless the tree hit a post directly. The parts are Home Depot stuff.

Insurance is for catastrophic events.
