Default Richmond Porsche Meet 2019

Richmond Porsche Meet 2019:

The 23rd Annual Richmond Porsche Meet, Shenandoah Region's premier event, is just around the corner! Mark your calendars for June 7th and 8th and plan on joining your friends and seeing some fabulous Porsches on the beautiful 18th Fairway of the Crossings Golf Club in Glen Allen, located just north of Richmond. We will have our own version of Amelia Island and Pebble Beach here in central Virginia.

This year we have invited cars from private collections for a special showing on the 18th fairway of the Crossings Golf Club.

A judged tops only concours will be led by our esteemed judge, Dave Lasch, a 45 year PCA member. The Porsche car corral will be adjacent to the 18th fairway. For those of you not having your Porsche judged, we invite you to join our members in the corral.

This year awards will be presented for the best in class for each concours category. The Gay Jewett Memorial Peoples Choice Award will carry on the tradition begun many years ago. Our Concours Title Sponsor, Euroclassics Porsche, will provide an award determined by their staff for the Best Overall Presentation chosen from the winners of each concours' class. The Euroclassic's award will be a track driving opportunity on the 1.6 mile road course at the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta, GA.

A catered lunch will be provided at the Crossings Golf Club pavilion.

A driving tour or a trackcross at Dominion Raceway will be the two activities planned for Saturday afternoon. The trackcross will have a limit of 40 participants so register early.

The awards dinner banquet will be held Saturday at the Virginia Crossings Hotel. The car show and trackcross awards will be presented during the awards dinner.

Registration is open and you may register by clicking on this link. (https://www.motorsportreg.com/events...nandoah-669104) Included in the Motorsportreg registration is a merchandise link for you to place an order for a 2019 RPM hat, t-shirt or golf shirt. If these items are ordered by May 22nd, they will be available for you onsite at RPM registration, June 7th and 8th.

Virginia Crossings Hotel, which is adjacent to the Crossings Golf Club, has set aside a block of rooms at the discounted, guaranteed rate of $115 plus taxes per night. The reservation deadline is May 17, 2019 and the reservation code is: Richmond Porsche Meet. We were advised by our hotel planner yesterday that the hotel is experiencing a higher than normal volume of reservations in June. Be sure to register early to insure this room rate.

Hotel industry practice is if a hotel is not fully booked, rates are often reduced. To obtain the best rate, please call Virginia Crossings directly prior to booking through Priceline, Expedia, Hotels.com or other third parties, as these reservations do not count towards Shenandoah's room guarantee.

Remember, it's not just about the cars, it's about the people. Get to know your fellow Porsche lovers and service providers. We look forward to seeing you at the Richmond Porsche Meet!
