Independent Porsche mechanic
My wife and I recently retired to Western MD. from Alexandria. We were getting our 2014 diesel Cayenne serviced at RPM in Lorton. I contacted the local Allegheny club regarding Porsche service in the Morgantown WV area and have not heard back. Our other choice is Pittsburgh.
Morgantown is about 45 minutes from us. Pittsburg 2 hours Winchester VA is about the same distance for us as Pittsburg and we would rather go to N. VA. over Pittsburgh. Does anyone know of any independent Porsche mechanics in Morgantown WV or the Winchester area? We also have a 79 and 87 911 both of which Stan Fox rebuilt the engines. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide. |

What about Billy at Performance Engineering (Dave Coleman's old shop) at Summit Point WV?
(off topic - great story about Dave: https://jalopnik.com/an-angel-in-a-m...-of-1613007857)

Its about 45 minutes away from Winchester so it may be out of reach for you but Chapman Autowerks in Sterling could be an option.

Do you have any interest in selling your ‘87 911?

Thank you for your interest but we bought it when it was 6 months old from Chick Stanton at Heishman's. Kris, my wife drove it almost every day into DC. She loves it So no, we do not plan on selling it. We finally live in an area where the roads twist and turn with no traffic. Now if we could just get the rain to stop. Good luck in your search Jerry |

I have been using Ultimate Auto Group in Winchester for the last couple of years. Mike is the guy that works on my car, these guys are great, Porsche, BMW, Ferrari, etc. Very fair, I usually bring my own parts and they are fantastic.
