Default Wanted: Shop recommendation near Bowie

Hi All,
Family friend is having issues w/ the AC in her 2000 Highlander (that another shop could not fix) and is looking for a reputable shop in the Bowie area.

Any recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks,
Jerome

If they are willing to drive a bit (not too far from Bowie), then I highly recommend Crownsville Automotive. Obviously, in Crownsville. https://www.crownsvilleautomotive.com/

My wife and I have owned seven Toyota pickups/Tacomas over the past 22 years (we still have six of them). Her 2003 Taco is approaching the 550K mile mark. I do pretty much all of the regular maintenance myself. However, Andy at Crownsville Auto has taken care of timing belts and other more complicated jobs. Susan has used this shop since before we met in '96. The work has always been done right, his prices are very reasonable, and I'm confident that he has never done anything that didn't need to be done.

Andy works on various makes, but he definitely knows his way around Toyotas.

Thanks Mark. I hope you're doing well.

Someone PM'd me a recommendation for Kearney Automotive in Capital Heights. I remember meeting and flagging w/ John (co-owner) at the club race. If Kearney's doesn't work out I'll recommend Crownsville to my friend.

John fabricated a seat mount for my 924S back in the day. That was my way not experience with him, but he seemed like a good guy with plenty of skills.

My 996 is giving me some grief, but life is good. Haven't seen you in a long time. You still getting track time in the 951?
