Don’t know if you can run 18” wheels, but if so take a look at the Tokyo RS1 slick. I’ve only got 5 days on them so far, and but they are wearing very evenly and look to be god for at least another couple weekends.
I’d say they’re in between a Nitto NT01 and the Conti slicks I've tried, and are very predictable when I reach the limit of grip. Tom

On my Spec3 (E36 325i, 2850#) racecar, a set will last the entire season when rotated properly and regularly, with little to no dropoff in laptimes until they cord. VIR and Summit records for Spec3 were set (by class leader, not me) with well-worn tires. They do like relatively low pressures, around 34-36psi hot. Could be a factor in some of the negative experiences in this thread? Also, agree that they don't get 'fast' for several hc.
