Was originally scheduled for pick up in mid August. Now supposedly sometime in October. They haven’t given me the individual step dates.

Oh dear.
What's the delivery date if you fly over and pick it up? Or is it too late to change?

I think it’s too late for that. I think I can still redirect it to the dealer in Charleston and get it a couple of weeks sooner. I need more info than I’m getting to make a decent decision.

I don't think it'll fit in his checked luggage.

Just poking around, it looks like it's all the emission approvals (EPA/CARB). Target date for release of the cars is 9/4, but if it's like other models it could slip again. Cars will be held at port any where along the way depending on room to store them.

frustrating for sure.

Thanks. I’d believe that. So if there’s no room in the US ports (in this case Jacksonville FL) they would leave them sit in Germany?

Should have held on to my 2014 a little longer! Having withdrawal symptoms.

That sounds like a fantastic place to get your car and put it through its paces. How will you get it home from there? Back on the ship, or is it connected to the mainland by a bridge or tunnel?
