My neighbor restored one of those in the 80s - had to build an extension on the garage!

Well, it looks fast. Sort of. I guess.

I should have known it should always be a 911.

My choice would be an E34 M5 convertible. Don't see many around, big enough back seat so the kids aren't going to gripe, and can be modded to be a real sleeper. Prefer the Alpina version.

And as a classic Mustang owner, I have to agree the 67-68 Shelby's are the pinnacle of muscle car convertibles. A guy down the street from me had one when I was a kid. Green and had the snake-skin convertible top and Kelsey-Hayes wheels. Back seat is a little cramped though.

My neighbor across the street had one new (in the 60s)...and had to build an extension on the garage, too!
