Default WTBorrow - Nitrogen Tank to charge shocks

I recently checked the nitrogen pressure on my shock canisters and discovered that two were well below their correct pressure. Unfortunately I dont have a tank/setup to be able to charge them (just the gauge). Does anyone who is coming to Summit Point for the DE this weekend have a nitrogen tank setup they could bring so I could get them back up to the correct pressures?

Some of the Cup car folks using similar shocks may have something in the trailer. You may also want to contact the Gasoline Alley shops; one of them may have high pressure nitrogen available.

Just out of curiosity, what PSI are you looking for?

Default WTBorrow - Nitrogen Tank to charge shocks

So I actually have the cup Sachs shocks so that could work out. Pressures should be 75/225. The fronts were at 75 when I measured so that means that now they are slightly low- rears were at 160

You have a car that has remote reservoir nitrogen charged shocks. Unless you are selling the car soon you will, not might, will need to top up now and then. Go to Roberts Oxygen, purchase a small Nitrogen tank and regulator. The 2 will cost about the same as a tire.

Agree 100% with VG. I am surprised someone got yo into shocks like that and did not indicate right off the bat that you need a tank.

and reg and high pressure hose. The home depot type stuff is normally only rated to 200 PSI.

Bicycle folks use cool little super high pressure pumps on the forks and shocks. A $35 pump can hit 300 PSI easy.

Call Billy at Summit point. I am sure he has Nitrogen.
Also Mike Smalley Is bringing his Cup with adjustables.
How about B man? Sloan might be coming to support him.
