Default FS: 2002 Boxster S track car - $8000

I am selling my 2002 Boxster S. Almost 100k miles. All service is up to date. The car is a little cosmetically challenged (some paint fading and rock chips) but is in excellent mechanical condition. It will be tracked at the last Potomac DE if not sold before.
Modifications include:
-Sparco Evo 2 track seats
-5 point harnesses
-Brey-Krause roll bar extension
-Bilstein PSS9 Coilovers
-911 GT3 Control arms
-Short shifter
-Sport muffler
-track brake pads and slotted rotors
*comes with 2 sets of wheels- one set with barely used continental street tires and the other has barely used Nitto NT-01 track tires

I have no records of clutch/IMS replaced. The clutch feels strong and the oil filter is checked at every oil change. I was going to wait until clutch time to retrofit the IMS.

In the several years I worked as a Porsche technician, I rarely saw IMS failures on these 3.2's and it's especially rare for cars that were used frequently at varying RPM.

I wouldn't be opposed to replacing both clutch and IMS if potential buyer covers the cost of parts.

Why is that? I am always puzzled by statements like that. I am glad he found someone to buy it, and got $7,500 (hopefully he got that much).

SJK- Can't thank you enough. I had a great time with the car this past year! I have extended the PCA Potomac family. The car went to a great guy who will hopefully be bringing the car out next year.
