Default Fabspeed Cat Back Muffler on Cayman S

Does anyone know if a Cayman S with a cat back, specifically Fabspeed, passes state emission testing?

FYI, i had fab 200 cats and headers on my 997S (and with a different motor, even) and it passed in MD no issues.

As long as the ready indicators set in the ECU (i.e., it won't cause any codes), it'll pass MD emissions testing. They stopped doing the sniffer tests years ago for OBDII cars. They do a quickie visual check to make sure the car still has cats.

Not sure how they do it in NJ, though.

I have a brand new set of headers and cat back for sale for a Gen 1 987 Cayman S

Passes in DC since it has all the O2 sensors and 200 cell cats.

Good point. I did not consider that there are any differences, but I guess there are.

I called Fabspeed and was told that they have a tune for passing emission.
Not a fan of cat bypass, I guess
