Default 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera

https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...1155/overview/

Asking $19,900

Up for sale is my 2002 Porsche 911 (996.2). I've had the car for 3 years and am ready to try something different. This 911 turns heads everywhere it goes. Looks like GT3 with the aero kit, wing, and wide wheels and sounds amazing with the sports exhaust! It also has a wonderful six speed manual transmission, so you get a very enjoyable experience every time you drive.

I have done a bunch of maintenance during my ownership; most recently new catalytic converters and all 4 new oxygen sensors. I have a spreadsheet that tracks all maintenance I have done which I would be happy to provide, along with a stack of paper records from previous owners (I am the 4th).

The IMS bearing was replaced when the car visited Jake Raby's shop when it had 55,000 miles on it. Unfortunately that owner lost his receipt, and the previous owner reached out to Jake to get a copy of it but was told that they can't easily look up invoices over 2 years old.

The car has a great mix of options and upgrades, including:
-Champion Forged RG5 wheels (GT3 Size and offsets)
-Misha GT2M spoiler
-EVOMS Intake
-IPD Plenum
-Porsche Sports Exhaust System (locked into loud mode permanently by previous owner -- sounds awesome!)
-Porsche x74 Coilover suspension system
-Porsche Carbon "horseshoe"
-Porsche Carbon fiber Gear shift knob
-Center console painted in Aluminum
-Double DIN Kenwood radio with Bluetooth/usb/XM
-35% window tint
-Blinder Laser jammer (currently uninstalled and hidden behind the front bumper)
-Wired for Valentine One Radar Detector (radar detector not included)
-Rubber floor mats
-Short Shift Kit
-Aluminum Gauge rings
-Porsche Non-smoker Center console
-IMS Guardian installed (currently not working, as the wire broke off the drain plug)
-LN Engineering Spin on Oil Filter adapter
-Litronic HID Headlights
-Clear corners installed
-Porsche 6 CD Disk changer (located in front trunk)
-Ruf Aluminum Pedals
-Full leather power seats
-Heated Seats

Extra's included with the sale
-Porsche OEM Roof Rack
-Winter wheels and tires
-Durametric Enthusiast Cable (only coded to this cars VIN)
-Original center console (previous owner bought the silver painted one currently in the car)
-OEM spoiler and mechanism (missing hardware)

Known Issues:
-Sometimes the passenger window doesn't correctly drop after opening the door. This is likely an issue with one of the micro switches, but I haven't bothered to fix it since I usually drive alone and the problem is intermittent.
-IMS Guardian wire is broken.
-Some of the plastic under-body panels are missing or broken.
-Roof rack door clip needs to be replaced (replacement part included with sale).

Overall, this is a fantastic example of a 996.2 911. PPI's welcome at your expense. Please let me know if you have any questions or want to come see the car.

This is a cross post from, figured it would make more sense to just have my own thread:

I sold the car to a couple from NJ today. I think they will take good care of it!
