The problem, as I see it, is that the plate that mounts to the lugs simply isn't big enough. It has two sets of holes drilled in it -- one for 4 bolt hubs, the other for 5 bolt hubs. But the spacing on the 911 is bigger than this will accomodate. And it doesn't look like there's enough material to just elongate the holes. See the picture below...

An easy fix.

I can weld a metal tab to the rim of the bolt plate at each of the 5 bolt hole points. Smooth the welds out and "Move" the hole outward. You could also make up a new base plate but the first method would keep the ability to bolt to non P cars and take less time to boot. Aprox two hours to do and I will only charge like time for help moving drywall downstairs.

Would it be more or less work to weld it / or bolt it to an old rotor?
I have one I can donate if you think it's worth a try.

Good slick fix. Little work to weld and if you bolt to a rotor you will need to cut away the plate that is in the way of the studs, the unit will not fit other cars and you would need to remove the caliper and existing rotor each time you want to use it.
You could cut the center out of a rotor, cut the adapter plate off the roller and then weld the roller to the rotor center disk.

Whatever the fix is, I'd gladly help move drywall for a few hours...

I also have a plethora of old rotors. Let me know and I can drop them by the Taj.

Thanks but NO thank you! DeerTony's single example of why you don't drill a rotor after you make it is plenty.

DayTony's rotor is a Zimmerman drilled rotor that failed in short order. 3 large through and through edge to center cracks. Not the first Zimmer rotor I have seen fail this way.

I think it will be easer, for me at least, to add 1/4 tick tabs and move the holes. This will keep the 4 bolt pattern usable For 914s. Rotors are cast and don't weld well.
