Interesting, not a view held by most I think. '24s/'44s had the lowest cd of any car for many years, large wheel wells, near perfect weight distribution and brakes and suspension that have proven to be very well thought out. Only lacked decent HP numbers to make it a front runner. Though many are still as fast or faster on the track than their equivalent contemporaries.
