You can always try it and instruct at the tracks that are less busy and during cooler weather. I'm a teacher also, and I found instructing definitely helped with my own driving. You're not locked into every event. I had the same problem with motion sickness, but after time it sort of (mostly) went away.
At the last SP event, I rode shotgun for 11 nearly full sessions on Saturday. If I tried that at Shen, I would have easily ruined the inside of my helmet. Pick what works for you!

Hey Mark,
All of the above is great advice. I think the key is finding what works for you, which may take a little trial and error. For me, the scopalomine patches work great, with the only side effect being dry mouth. 1 patch applied the morning before a 3 day event lasts through the weekend. I admit I do use my propensity for motion sickness as a warning to my student to be smooth. "If you're not smooth, you'll be cleaning up the right seat."
