Great idea and nice build!

You've got more track experience than most people at comp school. The pass rate is pretty high, I hear!

Very exciting Rob!!!

For Spec 3, do they all have to be the 325? Can you use a 328 chassis but drop a 325 motor in it and be legit? I'll be curious to chat with you later in the year after you've done a few races with it.

Lane, IIRC the chassis and motor must be 92-95. I'll have to re-read the rules on that one.

Actually - just read the rules:

Model: 325
Factory Code: E36
Eligible Production Years: 1993-1995
Factory BHP: 189
Factory Weight: 3090
Minimum Weight: 2900
LBS/BHP: 15.34
Final Drive Ratio: 3.15:1

Rob,
What tires do they run on SPEC-3? Is there also a class for E36 M3s (which is what I had been led, 3 years ago, to believe SPEC-3 was)?

Admin note: answers split into separate thread: http://dorkiphus.net/porsche/showthread.php?t=29440

BMW Club may have a class for E36 Ms, but I'm not familiar - perhaps Wonger or Dubovsky can chime in.

E36 M3s fit in a couple BMW classes and NASA's GTS (2 typically). AFAIK, there is no 'spec' series for them.
