That happened to one of my bud's at NJMP this past weekend in the middle of a race (he's a former PCA DE'er and instructor, too, but of course this was in a Miata). He managed to drive the car quite a distance to get off track out of the racing line.

That's not an aircraft typically used to give lessons. WTOP was saying it was a Cessna, shame it's a Mooney. Takeoff Altitude Density miscalculation?
