from your signature it seems that you don't have an sc either so you also have no dog in this fight. this entire website revolves around people that know each other to a certain degree and have no problem with poking fun at one another. or at each others' cars. or crashes. or at each others' websites.

half the members here have owned sc's in the past and were part of the original scwdp (yes they even had STICKERS on their cars), so b/c it has come up again, it's gonna be a target of jokes, just like it was 3-4 years ago.

the difference here seems to be that the original scwdp wasn't being this douche-y and exclusive, and it allowed other members to join as well. it appears that this time around it's not in the lighthearted spirit of the scwdp's intention (c'mon, are you *really* taking that name seriously???), but rather it is trying to be a REGISTRY of sorts. only for sc's. so if it is an attempt at a registry, then maybe it should be called..... a registry. when you use an old name that stood for something else entirely, you will have longhood, carrera, and 993 owners somewhat confused.

hell, there have been complaints and jokes about the pca's potomac website, what makes you think people wouldn't poke fun at an 'enthusiast' website?

also, have you actually *tried* to read "neon blue on black" for longer than 20 seconds??

I am confused. I thought SC was short for "Slow Coupe." Why is the abbreviation being misrepresented as "Super Carrera" when it is slower, overheats more easily, has inferior brakes, and came before the Carrera?
