Spec3 Build
I'm not as handy as most Dorkis on here, but thought I'd post progress pics of the build of my Spec3 that I intend to run with NASA.
Started out as a bone stock, salvage-titled 1995 325is that I purchased in April 2012. The plan was to DD/DE it for the season, then turn it into a Spec car in November 2012.  Took it to VIR in April in stock form.  First was the suspension - got the help from Wong and a couple other buddies to swap out the suspension. MUCH easier to buy it as a kit v. piecing it together from different vendors.        Then seats / harnesses:     Then roll bar:      Finished off the rest of the season doing DEs. My wife was learning to drive a manual, and this was the car for her to do it. We shared the car on weekends where she was driving, and had a blast. Now that the season was over, it was time to have the front half of the cage finished:              Picked up the car from the shop today, and started working on installing the fire bottle. Only got as far as creating brackets for the nozzles in the engine compartment, and will hopefully finish plumbing the interior nozzles and the actual bottle tomorrow.

Great looking car/build, Rob! Looks like a blast.
Also, nice "Speed Hump" sign in the garage. Some friends and I acquired one of those in college (totally legally, of course) but I have no idea where it is.
