Ok I guess, but why not concentrate on one series

The rules of chump are more focused on racing with light spectacle, and allow repairs etc. They also race at: rockingham, VIR south, and roebling road; run true 24 hour events(except roebling, which is 2 seven hour races) and if I run both series I can do seven events...

Besides, if one piece of crap is fun, 2 has to be more fun right.....

The ChumpCars were running at VIR on the Patriot Course during Potomac's DE last year. I didn't get to watch much of it, but it looked pretty well attended.

FWIW, I actually like the GLH; appropriately named! I knew a friend who SCCA raced one in the '80's (he later upgraded to the Shelby GLH). I always thought the Omni was a pretty fun little package; kinda like the US's answer to the VW Rabbit GTI.

Good luck running the two series. But wouldn't it be easier to establish some consitency/overlaps between the 2 cars. Being able to share parts and all that...

Actually a near Rabbit clone licensed to and built by Mitsubishi and sold through Chrysler dealerships. Later Mitsu motored turbo models can run ¼ mile in high 12s without to much work. I had a fastback / hatchback Omni beater for a while and it was nice. The pickup version would make a nice parts getter / beater. One that could turn mid 13s, while getting 25 MPH would be a lot of fun around town too!!
