Default TRW vs PORSCHE parts (lcr)

i am looking at adjustable lower control arms for my 981 hpde car

ecs tuning has a 981 kit on sale that includes TRW parts at a significant savings over a gt3 lcr kit from tarett, or even ecs tuning itself???

TRW is a parts supplier for Porsche. Don't know if they make the control arms, but it sure does look like it.

Go for it! Saving $$$ for seat time is always a good idea! Besides it’s not like your life is at risk or anything!

going with the porsche parts from tarett

according to them, the porsche parts go through higher testing and quality control, and they have the best price i have found on a 981 conversion kit

also going with oem rubber bushings

I would update the bushes! Not solid, but something a little stiffer.

would be curious if you see a TRW stamping or label on the parts.

I've had the TRW outer arms, with Tarrett monoball inners on my 981 for a couple years. TRW is a major parts supplier for automotive and aerospace equipment. Good quality.

I just replaced the lower control arms on the boxster with split GT3-style arms from TRW, and they are exactly the same as the Porsche parts, except someone took a die grinder and ground off the "996" part of the cast-in part number.
