My sister drove a hardtop for years. It had a "Meat is Murder" bumper sticker and did epic burnouts. Good choice.

Ryan, now why did you have to go an post this?

Looks like the car that started the Porsche madness for me.. mine was the same light Ivory but was a 67 911S soft window Targa w/Torque Thrust wheels, a rusty front pan, semi-bad torsion bar tube, and crappy heat exchangers.

It ran well, however it a miracle that I didn't die in that car as I rounded the turns from GW Pky to Rock Creek park.. remember the rusty front pan!
After an estimate for repair from Porshetoration & Autothority I wisely traded the car (same day) for an 65 series 1 E-Type Jag. The dealer though he was making-out because the soft window was so special.. hell, I was a college kid and I couldn't afford either but the Jag was pristine so I was up!

Thx for that pic!!

I must say you have owned just about every "antique" car I've thought about!!!

I am starting to give up on four seaters as I haven't found one that really appeals to me and now looking at

1989 speedster
1989 turbo cab or targa
1989 turbo look cab

Glad you've seen the light about a 2-seater!

Speedster is certainly your style. While the US '94 speedster is a "narrow body", I am sure someone with means surely had a Widebody version brought stateside (they were available in Europe)

Might also consider the 964 based America Roadster (1992 or 93 only).. essentially a widebody NA cabriolet.. only 250 or so brought to the US.

There was a guy posted here a lot (username was maybe = Bull?) from Chesapeake region who had one. Always very gung ho about it.

I've had few.. although many have eluded me due to price and/or timing.

Turbo Targa is the rarest of that bunch above.. although I've never really liked open Turbo cars. Always felt it to be a dangerous combo. Sold a blk/blk 89 Turbo cab just as that market got hot a few years ago. Had no remorse.

I think the 89 Speedster is a good bet, beautiful cars.. but you really can't get anyone in the back because of the canopy.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it already but an 80's Aston Martin Volante would be hot! Check-out Nick or Tom Papadopoulos at Autosport Design in NY. More vintage Astons in one place than you've ever seen.. and Nick is a Porsche guy too!
