Default VW Shop in MD

Can anyone recommend a shop in Montgomery County, Md., for my wife's 2007 GTI? Right now it's just for routine maintenance, but things could develop.

you can try Rick Ellinger at RC imports in rkvl. (301) 762-4205. I think he is known for Merc's but I wouldnt be surprised if he is a guru with all things german (and i recall something about how he's raced bimmers maybe...?). anyway, we brought the wife's Merc there a few times - VERY happy with the service, price, etc, and have heard same feedback from others.

TAG Motorwerks in Gaithersburg. (301) 258-0859. I was there yesterday, and Hamm is rebuilding an isetta motor. Cute! The rods are solid - no rod bolts, and everything is on needle bearings or ball bearings. www.tagmotorwerks.com

Even duct tape can't fix stupid... but it can muffle the sound!

I've personally used NGP. They've got a shop in Aberdeen and in Lorton. It's a bit of a drive I'm sure, but definitely worth it (for me it's an hour drive to the lorton one, longer to aberdeen) especially for the "but things could develop" part
