South African soccer star Rooi Mahamutsa of the Orlando Pirates was driving his BMW 3 Series in Johannesburg, when he slipped on a patch of wet tarmac, lost control and slammed straight into a guardrail. The massive string of metal went cleanly through the windscreen and out the back, yet the driver walked away without a scratch.

Seems like a guardrail fail. But based on the sidewalk, I don't think the guardrail was planned for the speed he must have been going.

I would say he has used up all his luck for a while. Is it me or does it look like he backed into the guard rail? The back of the car is dented in and the bent over posts lend me to think this.
