Yesterday at 4.30 Silver long hood targa with number 30 or 13 on the window in the obligatory DE shoe polish sitting on the exit for Vienna. Guy walking back to it with a gas canister. Didn't recognize him so can't say who.
Today, white 944 being Washed or something at the N. Glebe Shell station.

Just returned from a ~1,000 mile roundtrip to Massachussetts to pick up my daughter. To keep us awake, we counted 34 Ford Freestyles (not counting the one we were driving) and 20 Porsches of various colors and models (including three Cayennes and one orange '70s-looking 911 on a rollback ... sweet!). Also saw one yellow Ferrari, two Lambroghinis, and a new Jaguar convertible. Surprisingly, very few Corvettes. Porsches really stand out in traffic and are easy to spot; Freestyles, ah, not so much.

Around 2pm on 66 I saw 3 Porsches: 996 Silver/Gold. A red Cayman with red wheels (so it looked) and a Carerra Cab. All headed west. I think there was a drive and arrive at the Porsche fest today leave Mannasas?

Quite a few today in Ocean City;
997 turbo on Rt. 90 heading in to OC ragtop bumper car in front of one of those price joints just S. of Bethany. had body color wheels. 964 turbo (look at least) heading n. on coastal hwy in OC. got a quick whiff of the sound and liked it quite a bit. 964 ragtop outside of a bsns. on Rt. 54. Weird to see so many 911s in one day here. i can go the better part of 6 months without seeing anything more interesting than a boxster (but for the Cayman around the corner).
