Man, I hope there is no problem with getting the car ready. I am both excited and apprehensive about driving the new platform. I think that Bob T and Larry H from Riesentoter (sp?) are coming down. Anybody know?

Had to swap out a CV boot on the white 911. There is 45 min I will never get back. Flush the brakes, check and top up the Nitrogen in the shocks and it is ready.
Did all the fluids but the brakes last fall, took the torque wrench all over and strung it and tweeked the settings a little bit. Old tires so the track record is still safe.

After a truly craptastic winter I am looking foward to some track time with the gang even more than normal. (assuming there is a normal for this bunch)

A little bird told me you even found a way to make your car even more lighter..... A bigger bird told me Tony P did the same thing. What some folks will do for better lap times. I did the inverse....I added 5 lbs to my car's weight

Took 40 pounds out. Was aiming at 35 and overshot a bit. Be interesting to see if it makes any difference in lap times.

Got a lot done this past weekend. Replaced the oil, gear lube, and flushed the brakes. Replacing the gear lube was more of a job then I expected. The cooler for the transmission sits in front of the fill plug, you have about 1 1/2 inches to work in. I had to press the 10mm hex bit out of my socket and use it with a wrench to get the filler plug out. Now that's the second time I've used my little HF press. Nice to have the tools around to complete the job.

Installed adjustable rear toe arms and locking plates and tarrett front/rear drop links.

Car goes to TPC on Wednesday for an alignment.

But like Kurt, I will be on last years tires.
