in second video you can see where the seat has flattened out and the pilot's legs are still in the front. considering the forces that took the rest of the chopper apart not too surprised the seat failed. I would guess that along with most of the aircraft weight savings was a factor in the seat build

The end of the second video shows the cable hit clearly. Rotor took it right around and through the tail. Lot of people in close range to a violent event and they all walk away.

Wow. This was apparently televised on live TV (which explains the camera man I noted..). Apparently a Christmas Tree raising gone wrong.

I'm better off either way than him so... I could see the right handers helmet through the top window so figured someone was or had gotten in back to see if they could figure out a solution that didn't = crashing.

I've been in a couple of hard landings where the bird didn't fly again that day. Remember feeling a lot shorter for a while after! Even had to untangle an upside down 60 gunner from a failed repel out of one. It was raining so static was an issue...

Wonder if vid timed or taken down because someone was hurt bad??

I needed a good laugh! That guy should not be allowed to touch anything with wires.

The youtube video was allegedly posted by the camera man. He states in the notes that anyone copying the video and reposting would be taken down along with some other interesting details like he was the guy yanking the pilot from the plane. Linking to his youtube is apparently OK.

6.) When Everyone Around You Hates On It

A lot of times being a car enthusiast means doing what makes you happy and not caring what other people think. But if you’re troubled by ridicule by your friends, family, fellow enthusiasts, service advisors, mechanics, and of course forum trolls, maybe take a step back and rethink your purchase.
