Another fun race to watch (of the few this year.....). Sad for me to see Hami go DNF on Lap 1, but IMHO it a pure & simple racing incident. Kudos to Ferrari for a great run this weekend. Alonso's pit stop was brilliant! Good to see the season is still up for grabs with 5 races to go.

How about Hulkenburg taking pole! Simply awesome and great to see Williams taking a pole after 5 1/2 years.

Nothing against the Hulk, but I think his pole was partly due to luck of tire choice during a changing set of quali sessions. His race start was not quite as impressive..... But kudos to him though for a pretty darned good rookie season!

Today's race was pretty good. Kudos to the RBR team for taking Constructor's Award, and for making the final race in Abu Dabi a mult-driver race to overall Driver's championship. Pardon my naivety, but I was surprised to learn that Season's Constructor prize is worth tens of millions $$, while Driver prize is -0-.

That is one reason why the back markers race. Even the constructor in 10th gets a good paycheck at the end of the year.

On the other hand, their contract negotiations get a lot more $$$ when they finish high in the driver points. Can't even fathom what Alonso's contract must be!

Just a single point by a driver is HUGE in terms of finances from The Little Devil. I remember them saying on Speed a few years ago that scoring just one point entitles the team to reimbursement for travel expenses for all races. Think about the cost of that!

Very impressed with The Hulk. Drove a smart race and brought home a few points. Great to see Williams lead again.

Just finished watching the post race interview. Great body language. Vettel really looked to be the team leader, Webber dejected (understandably). Vettel kept talking about possibilities needed to beat FA and the 16 points he needs - all the while failing to even mention he is in THIRD behind his teammate, who is only 9 points out of winning the WDC. Clever on his part, but I hope Webber beats him just because the owners/marketing people favor Vettel so heavily. So Big Drama at RBR! Vettel is a future multiple WDC, no doubt.

Hopefully, Fernando will bring it home for Ferrari......

Tens of millions at least.

Glad RBR won the constructors championship. As fast as Vettel is, if he hadn't made some immature mistakes during the earlier part of the season he would have already won the DC.
