I showed your picture to my 9 yo daughter and her response was "why is Santa Claus wearing a skirt and carrying a purse???"

I replied "that's not a skirt, it's a kilt. And he must be carrying his wife's purse since you can see she's not carrying one..."

My paster asked about the "purse" and what I carried in it. So I showed him my wallet, car keys and cell phone. But it's hung to low. Wasn't any fun trying to walk fast.
