Looks like the closer in to DC, the worse the roads became. Loudoun County wasn't too bad last night but this morning it was a much longer commute coming into town.

Snowzilla is supposed to drop 15-25" - this could be a historic storm this weekend!

Roads were horrible around Arlington and McLean....if you know how to drive it was ok....Icey but you could manage...ended up picking a few friends that were stuck and parked the car trying to walk home...basically drove down the middle of the road to avoid morons stuck everywhere...hmmmm huge hill fwd car with crap tires...lets start the climb at 1 mph.....or big suv let's start down this hill at 25 and stab the breaks so abs saves me......or,,,,,could go on

2 busses blocked old dominion so I spent about 3 hours getting into McLean to pick my mom up...30 min to get there...rest driving around roads blocked by those that should have just parked

i work in HQ in gaithersburg, our data center is in buffalo - they (rightly so) make fun of this area every time we lose our sh*t when there's any type of precip. some of our folks live in areas that got 6+ FEET in the big one that hit them last year, yet they were dug out/back in the office in less than 2 days. a foot is a dusting to them.

sigh, so since this is MoCo, i guess the wife and l will have to line up baby sitters due to school being out til, when, March probably? August?
