Welcome Bob V.

Looks like you did OK with Rick V. ['cept for his obsession with naming cars ]

Nice to see another father / son shared passion. I've been doing this p-car thing with my father for going on 18+ years

I thought I'd better introduce myself before I was asked to being I posted a question....met a couple of you at Bull's Gaithersburg run a few weekends ago and hope to meet more as time flies by. Got to say this board is one of the more entertaining ones around! I'll see if I can post a pic here...haven't figured out the avatar thing though.

Default I have arrived!

Literally. I just moved into my new (to me) town home in Ashburn. It's really nice here and the neighbors are real cool. I learned a couple things on my way here.

1. Porsche garners interest no matter where you are. I drove from Colorado across the U.S. while getting 14.5 mpg. I had quite a few opportunities to stop and fill up and people always commented or asked questions about the car on the trailer.

2. Shave your dog before they take a 3 day road trip while they are shedding their winter coat.

3. I don't like humidity, all my moving boxes are damp.

4. Ashburn does not have a carwash that knows what a "handwash" is.

5. Wegmen's is awesome!

6. Everything costs more here.

That's it so far. I hope I get to meet some of you soon that I am now in the area.
